效存德、男，漢族，1969年11月9日出生，甘肅定西人。博士。1992年畢業于蘭州大學地理科學系，獲理學學士學位，并被評為優秀畢業生。1992年考入中國科學院冰川研究所攻讀碩士學位。1997年10月以優異成績通過博士論文答辯，獲理學博士學位。現在中國科學院冰芯與寒區環境重點實驗室工作。

經歷：

效存德自1993年以來共參加了8次野外科學考察，其中青藏高原3次，帕米爾高原1次，北極1次，南極3次。1993年6月至10月參加中日青藏高原冰川、氣候和水文考察（唐古拉山地區）；1994年月至6月參加中日青藏高原冰川、氣候和水文考察（唐古拉山、希夏邦馬峰地區）；1994年8月至9月，參加帕米爾高原公格爾冰川考察；1995年3月至5月，參加“中國首次遠征北極點科學考察”；1995年11月至1996年4月，參加中國第十二次南極考察；1997年4月至5月，參加中美珠穆朗瑪峰地區絨布冰川科學考察；1997年11月至1998年4月參加中國第十四次南極考察；2001年11月至2002年4月參加中國第十八次南極考察隊。

學術方向：南北極冰芯與生物地球化學循環、遙感與冰凍圈變化、冰凍圈與氣候

學術榮譽：

2004年被授予中央國家機關“十大杰出青年”稱號；2005年被授予“全國先進工作者號；2005年獲“世界氣象組織(WMO)青年科學家獎”。
